The Cleveland Indians lost again. What else is new? The team just can’t figure out a way to win a baseball game. The Texas Rangers beat the Indians 5-3, it was Indians pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez trying to snap the streak and get the Indians back into the win column, Jimenez pitched for 5-2/3′s giving up 8 hits and 4 runs. Once thought to be a dominate pitcher Jimenez continues to struggle for the Indians.
Ubaldo is 9-14 on the season and has yet to show he can regain the performance the Indians thought they were getting when they pulled off the trade with the Rockies last season. The Indians did score 3 runs in the game, that is a little better than the team has done in some of their losses. 2 of those runs came on a Casey Kotchman home run in the 9th inning as the Indians were looking for a comeback. The Tribe is in real danger of losing 100 games with the 30 they have left on the schedule this season it is possible with the way the team has played since the All-Star break.
