The Cleveland Indians have an easy schedule to finish the 2013 season right? I don’t think there is an easy schedule in the MLB. The Indians are prof of that. All you have to do is watch the Indians play against a team they are supposed to beat to see this.
Cleveland dropped 2 out of 3 to the Kansas City Royals and this is the second time the team has done this in the month of September. The Indians are suppose to beat team’s like the Royals and they end up losing the series.
Now, they have placed themselves in a tougher situation. If they expect to find a spot in post season game, they have to win. There are only 10 games left. The team had their young ace Danny Salazar pitching last night in KC and he struggled.
He gave up 3 first inning runs and the Tribe were forced into trying to launch a come from behind win. That doesn’t come natural in baseball. People tend to press a little too much when they fall behind early.
Cleveland needs to find a way to get their offense moving early. To come from behind time and time again, it is a difficult task. The Tribe only found 2 runs in last nights game and that isn’t going to get it done.
