Mike Holmgren the guy the Cleveland Browns new ownership couldn’t get rid of fast enough, is still unemployed. Gee Mike, what do you suppose that is all about? Holmgren came to Cleveland and did very little to turn the Browns into a winning franchise. Even after he milked the former Browns owner Randy Learner out of close to 40 million dollars the Browns still finished the 2012 season with a record of 5 wins and 11 losses. Holmgren the man who said the Browns would be bettter in 2012 lied to everyone who would listen. he forced the teams general manager Tom Heckert into taking Brandon Weeden with the 22nd pick in the forst round of the 2012 draft. Weeden finished the season with the second worse total quarterback ranking in the NFL. I guess that stat pretty much debunks the the fact that Holmgren kept talking about. He said “trust me I know quarterbacks”. So much for that statement right Mike.
Teams as bad as Kansas City and Jacksonville didn’t even want anything to do with the 8 million dollar man. That’s right Holmgren always wants a salary of 8 million dollars a year so he can sleep in every morning and come to work late. Sometimes not making it into the office much before the afternoon. When football business should have been taken care of in Cleveland, Holmgren was on his buddies radio talk shows in Seattle. maybe if Mike Holmgren would have paid more attention to the Cleveland Browns they would have won a few more games last season.
Holmgren hired Pat Shurmur as the Browns head coach. Can you believe that? Then he gets pissed off at the Cleveland media once and threatens not to get them nay play off tickets. really, what was he going to do? Buy tickets to one of the other NFL teams and give them to the Cleveland Media? It sure wasn’t going to be Browns play off tickets. not with Mike Holmgren running things. Think about what Mike Holmgren did best while he was with the Browns. The thing he was good at was collecting money. Homgren should start a collection agency, that is what he does best, collect huge sums of money.
I laughed when I heard Mike Holmgren say he was listening to anyone who wanted to hire him as their head coach in the NFL, I am laughing even harder now seeing that the Jacksonville Jaguars would rather hire a guy with only 5 years of NFL coaching experience under his belt before they would consider giving Holmgren the team. Are you still listening Mike? Maybe you better get your large butt on the ground and hold your ear to the street to see is you can hear those NFL team owners coming your way.
