People said having Terry Francona as the manager of the Cleveland Indians would inspire guys to wan to play there. Today the Cleveland Indians signed Mike Aviles to a 2 year deal. With the signing the Cleveland Indians just added a lot of depth to Shortstop/Second base. Aviles  has played for the Kansas City Royals, The Boston Red Sox and now comes to the Cleveland Indians.

He has a career Batting average  of  .277 with 488 career hits. He has hit for 39 career home runs and has  190 runs batted in. The thing to watch out for with Aviles, is his ability to steal bases, he has 51 in his career. He brings the Indians a solid infielder and another bat that can help the Indian get some runs. The Indians signed him to a to a two-year, $6 million contract with a club option for the 2015 season.

Aviles’ deal could be worth $9.25 million if he reaches performance bonuses. Welcome to Cleveland Mr. Aviles.

I think that Lonnie could play first base with Mark being the DH.
That would leave mike to play third, no changes to ss or second base
    outfield locked in. Carlos catching.

    Do we really need Bourne?????
