The Cleveland Browns Defense is ranked near the bottom of the pile after the two games they played this season. Jauron’s defense has given up nearly a half of ton of yardage in the 2 games they played and still have difficulty stopping the run. For the Browns to try to put a win in the books this Sunday, the Cleveland defense is going to have to stop Buffalo’s CJ Spiller who averaged 8.2 yards per carry in his last game. The Browns defense is already missing one of its key players in playing the run, Chris Gocong who is out for the season was one guy that helped the Browns defend against the run.

Cleveland brought Frostee Rucker in to help the Browns defend against the run, so far it hasn’t been affective. Rucker who had only 2 tackles and 1 sack against his former team in the Browns last game. The Bengals were able to rush for 80 yards against the Browns and that may look good to many, but remember the Bengals are a pass first team this season and were able to pass the ball fairly well against Cleveland. The Browns have a week to get ready to take on the Buffalo Bills and for Dick Jauron and his Browns defense this week should be spent trying to plug the holes and stop the run. If the Browns can’t find a way to get it done, they may fall to 0-3 this week.

I agree that the 2 losses are no good, but Cleveland is 3rd in fantasy points in my league, and that is NOT shoddy. I think they may be tied for most sacks so far this season (if not tied, they are right behind the leader) It’s not fair to take shots at these guys on D. Let’s talk about the O.
