Yes, the Cleveland Browns have only competed in one per-season NFL game thus far, but there is no doubt who looked better playing quarterback for the team. Deshone Kizer was miles in front of Brock Osweiler and Cody Kessler.

Kizer completed 11 of the 18 passes he attempted, for 184 yards and one touch-down. He averaged 10.2 yards per completion, and that's a huge change from that dink and dunk crappy offense the fans are used to seeing with the Browns.

The thing that bothers me, is Kizer was sacked 3-times for 22 yards. The Cleveland Browns have to do a better job protecting their quarterback, or he won't make it through an NFL season.

It could be too early to tel.ll how good Kizer really is, but he looked like an NFL ready QB, in the first per-season game. Hopefully the Browns finally  got it right and drafted a guy that can actually play QB in the NFL.

Lets hope Hue doesn't want to start the season with Osweiler leading the Browns offense. This is the Cleveland QB, who looked like a confused rookie in the first per-season game. Kessler looked more confident, and more like a leader than Osweiler did.

I think the Browns made a mistake bringing Osweiler to Cleveland. I mean look how much they are paying this guy. The team could have used that money to find a top receiver or someone who could help protect the QB.

Lets all hold our breath, and see how Kizer does in the next per-season game. If he continues to play the way he did against the Saints, I can't see any one else being named the starter over him.
