Corey Kluber delivered a great performance for the Cleveland Indians yesterday. He pitched  8 great innings of baseball holding the Nationals to 7 hits and no runs. Kluber gave the Tribe just what they needed. An extended performance from a starter.

Kluber has surprised many this season. He has a record of 5-4 on the season and is getting better with each start. The Indians have struggled in the month of June. They are now getting back to playing good baseball.

The Indians took the series from the Washington Nationals to get back to .500 with a record of 34-34. They start a series with the Kansas City Royals tonight and many think the Indians should be able to claim this series too.

The Tribe needs to get this series. They are 4-1/2 games back of the Tigers and only a 1/2 game ahead of the Royals in the A.L. Central. The Tribe needs these kinds of starts from their starters. The Bull-Pen is suffering as of late, and the Indians offense goes into hibernation in some of the games.

With a solid start from the Indians pitchers, the Tribe has a chance to win. Lets hope this can continue. It was great to see Vinnie Pestano come in and not give up any runs too.
