Once again Corey Kluber comes through, showing why he is one of the most consistent pitchers in the Indians starting rotation. Kluber had a good outing against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He pitched for 7 innings, allowed only 4 hits, held the Diamondbacks scoreless, struck out 8 and walked only 1 batter.

Kluber helped the Cleveland Indians stop the losing streak. He is without a doubt, turning into one of major league baseball’s premier pitchers. Kluber has an ERA of 3.09, but with outings like this, that number is going to decrease.

The Indians offense was able to put 6 runs on the board in this game. They started with a Asdrubal Cabrera sac fly that drove in Bourn in the 1st inning. When Cleveland scores early, I think their chances of a win increase.

Once again, Mr. Michael Brantley had a big night at the plate. He hit another home run, and went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, He also walked once in the game.

The Indians will have the day off and then start a 3 game series against the Seattle Mariners tomorrow night. Lets hope they can extend the winning once they arrive in Seattle. The Indians split the series with the Diamondbacks last night with the 6-1 win in-game 2.

Cleveland is now 6 games back in the AL Central, behind the Tigers. They are also 2 game below .500 on the season.
