Next Monday we will be talking Colt McCoy Cleveland Browns football and Cleveland area youth football with special guest live in the studio Rush for a cause. What is Rush for a Cause you might be thinking? Be sure to log on for the Cleveland Sports 360 show to find out how Rush for a Cause rallies the Cleveland Area youth football teams together to help raise money to support injured athletes. Last August 174 youth football teams came together and were able to raise $28,000 dollars to help athletes that were injured playing the game.
Rush for a Cause is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to provide community and financial support for qualified tragically and severely injured atheletes, to raise awareness for the need, and to help promote injury prevention. Please check out our website for more information at www.rushforacause.org
You should be aware of an Ohio high school running back who started a non-profit Foundation to raise money for severely injured athletes, based upon pledges for the number of yards for which he rushed. Plus, he then recruited 40 other running backs to join him, and together, they raised approximately $50,000.
So, be sure to join us next Monday at 6:00p.m. when Bruce Noggle will come to the Cleveland Sports 360 show to share the great work Rush for a Cause has been doing.
