Anyone  who watched the Browns game Sunday already knows the trouble long snapper  Ryan Pontbriand had when Phil Dawson tried a 55 yard field goal. Pontbriand had another bad snap in the Rams game which cost the Browns a win and when Pontbriand talked during an interview after the game Sunday he said he is in a slump. Now the Cleveland Browns really put Pontbriand into a slump. Phil Dawson said he has been teammates with Pontbriand longer than any other player on the Browns team.

Dawson is going to miss Pontbriand. Lets just hope he doesn’t miss any more game winning field goals this season. The Browns could have been 6-5 at this point in the season. Now at 4-7 the Browns would have to win out the rest of their games to have any type of shot. 6-5 certainly would have people talking at this point instead of complaining about the Browns.

Head coach Pat Shurmur made it perfectly clear in his press conference the Browns have no time for people to be in slumps. The team certainly wasted no time in cutting Pontbriand.

2 bad snaps and you’re gone…I’d say Little and Company better start catching some passes or they may be hitting the bricks too…..those drops were a whole lot more costly than a “bad snap”
