The Cleveland Browns brought Christmas to their fans about 8 hours early this year, giving them the teams first win of the 2016 season. The Browns and their fans won't have to suffer through the 0-16 parade that people were planing.

Cleveland Beat the San Diego Chargers by a score of 20-17. You have to give the Browns defense and their special teams some credit for the win. The Browns held the 3-point lead from about the six-minute mark in the 3rd quarter.

Generally we wouldn't expect the Cleveland defense to hold the Chargers scoreless for more than a quarter. But the Browns were able to do that and they were able to block a field goal attempt late in the 4th quarter that would have tied the game at 20.

The last thing the Cleveland Browns needed was to go into over-time against Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. Not saying it would be any different from any other team, but we must remember the Browns were 0-14 heading into this game, and things weren't exactly going their way this season.

So Merry Christmas Browns fans, and Merry Christmas to Hue Jackson who got his first win as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. It took a while but change is never easy.

The Cleveland Browns have one game left this season and it's against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A win over them would send Browns fans into orbit.........
