Dion Waiters hits 28 points Dion Waiters is doing a great job, helping to get the Cleveland Cavaliers back to .500 at 2-2 on the season Waiters hit for 28 points against the L.A. Clippers in last night’s game. Waiters is one Cavaliers rookie helping his new team win. The Cleveland Cavaliers have to be happy with what they are seeing from Waiters, his ability to score at will is going to be huge as he continues to improve in his rookie season. The Clippers have a pretty good basketball team and Waiters made it look pretty easy to lead all Cavs scorers with 28 points last night.

Anderson Varejao continues to put forth a great effort. Varejao scored 15 points and had 15 rebounds in the game. The Cavaliers downed the  Clippers 108-101 to get their second win of the season and their first win on this west coast road trip. Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving last season’s rookie of the year scored 24 points and had a season high 10 assists. Irving continues to play inspired basketball in his sophomore season.   The Cleveland Cavaliers finally look to have the pieces in place to compete in the NBA this season. The Cavs have to hope they can see Varejao get through a season injury free, his enthusiasm is huge for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Just having Varejao on the floor gives the Cavs a lift.

Tyler Zeller the other Cavs rookie came off the bench and played for 24 minutes in the game and scored 15 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers take the game out of the Clippers hands.
