Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard, Matthew Dellavedova had to be placed on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to the Cleveland Clinic after game-3. Delly had severe cramping after the win in game 3.
Delly had to have IV therapy following his out-standing performance in Tuesday night's game. This guy lays it all on the line, every time he takes to the court. If you watched the game, you had to see Delly end up in the first row with the fans, as he dove for a ball heading out of bounds.
The guy is an incredible player, and a positive role model for the rest of the team. He had a big night in game-3. He scored 20 points, and did another outstanding job defending against Stephen Curry.
Dellavedova was able to walk to the Cavaliers parking garage after the game, he was experiencing heavy cramping and that's when the medical staff placed him in the ambulance, and took him to the Cleveland Clinic.
The Cavaliers said they would update Delly's status sometime today. Delly wasn't the only Cavs player to need some medical attention following game 3. Iman Shumpert apparently suffered a bruised shoulder early in the 1st period of play.
This is the same shoulder Shumpert dislocated the same shoulder Dec. 12 while still playing for the New York Knicks. He will undergo some imaging of the shoulder today. Shumpert is hoping it is nothing more than a bruise.
