When the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Kyrie Irving into the NBA, they took a chance on a kid that only played 11 games in college, little did they know he would become the best rookie playing in the NBA. Irving helped the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Boston Sunday night and the Cavs face Boston again tonight at home. I’ll bet Boston will be taking this kid Irving a little more seriously this time.

The NBA needed a kid like this after the lockout and Irving has brought a level of excitement to Cleveland the fans haven’t seen since you know who came to the team. Kyrie Irving is making a great run at the NBA’s rookie of the year. If Irving continues playing the style of basketball¬† he has shown the Cavaliers thus far, there should be no stopping Irving from become the NBA’s rookie of the year. Heck we are only 1/3 of the way thru the 2012 NBA season and Irving already has my vote.

Lets see if Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers can repeat with another victory of Boston tonight in Cleveland. I know Cavs owner Dan Gilbert is smiling when he sees the things Kyrie Irving has been able to do in his rookie year in the NBA. Hey Anderson Varejao is a better player because of his new renewed hustle he found playing with Kyrie Irving.

Why would anyone say just don’t win to many games this year. These are professional athletes they get paid to win not Lose to get a better lottery pick.
