The Cleveland Cavaliers can’t finish what they started last night against the Milwaukee Bucks in Cleveland last night. The Cavaliers came out in the first period of play and ran off with a 17-2 lead at one point in the first. Then the Cavaliers seemed to settle in and the Bucks started to make it happen. At the end of one it would be Milwaukee on top 28-25, coach Byron Scott had to wonder what just happened to his team to let a 17-2 lead expire.

The Cleveland Cavaliers would fight hard in the second and at the half it was the Cavs going to the locker room with the upper hand in this one 57-53. Win the game continued in the second half you could see this one was going to be a dog fight. The Cavaliers would out score the Bucks in the third by 4 points to continue to hold the lead going to the fourth. Both the Cavaliers and the Bucks entered into the fourth looking for a way to pull away from each other, it would happen.

Anderson Varejao wasn’t available due to an right wrist sprain and the Cavaliers had no one that could fight as hard as Andy for those rebounds. The fourth would be played and the two teams would be tied at 102 when the buzzer sounded. This one would go into overtime.  Milwaukee jumped into an early overtime lead, the Cavs would continue to fight in this one, they could never really regain the led as the seconds ticked off the overtime clock it would be the Cavaliers once again with a chance to seal the deal.

The Cavaliers would get the ball into the hands of Daniel Booby Gibson who drove the lane on his way to the basket picking up the offensive foul when he charged into the defender. Is was clear the Cavaliers picked up a bad call on the play. The defenders feet (both of them) were on the safe zone line.  When time expired in overtime it would be the Milwaukee bucks downing the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-112 in this dog fight.

For the Cleveland Cavaliers it was clearly one of the best games we have seen from Antwan Jamison who had 34 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Jamison clearly had the best chance to seal the deal for the Cavs , he just fell short as the Cavs ran out of time.
