The Cleveland Browns will be forced to play the New York Jets without a couple of their stand out players. Corner-back Joe Haden is questionable and Jordan Cameron is out with a concussion.

The Browns are going to need big games from T.J. Ward and Tashaun Gipson especially if Joe Haden can’t play. This leaves rookies in the Browns defensive secondary and you can bet the Browns will be vulnerable to the down field pass.

Gipson and Ward are two of the hardest hitters in the NFL. The problem becomes they can’t be everywhere. Cleveland is going to have to step up their pass rush to help the secondary this week.

A quarterback can’t throw the ball down field if he is on his back. The Browns front 7 need to put pressure on the Jets quarterback. Cleveland is going to have to bring the pressure and they are going to need to bring it all game long.

Over the past 3 games we’ve seen the Browns defense struggle in the 4th quarter and it seems as though some guys are hoping others will make the plays.

This week everyone on the defense has to do their job. They have to do it for 60 minutes and they can’t hope someone else is going to make the play.

Each guy should be fighting for his job next season. This team needs to show they can play for 4 quarters.
