Two of the Cleveland Browns secondary took time out Tuesday morning to go down to the St. Augustine’s Church and Hunger Center. This was the second year in a row that TJ Ward & Joe Haden teamed up at the hunger center to help carve Turkeys and feed hungry people. For Ward it means a lot to see the smile on people’s faces when they are down there working. Haden who missed the Dallas game due to injury was also glad to make it to the hunger center to help with the 250 turkeys.
Haden said it means a lot to see these fans down at the hunger center, he went on to say he rarely gets to see these fans but they are die-hard Browns fans just like everyone else. Both men agree the holiday season is upon us and they are thinking this is the time of the year people should be with their families and friends. For some that can’t happen and these two Cleveland Browns players are very happy to help brighten someones life even if it is just for a day.
