The Cleveland Browns didn’t pull of any last-minute trades before the NFL trade deadline, and now it is time for the team to get to work and get Campbell and his offense ready to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Josh Gordon is still on this team and he will play a large part in the Browns victory coming on Sunday. The Browns played the Ravens tough in the first game this season. The Cleveland offense sucked because they had a poor choice at quarterback in the first Baltimore game.

Those days are gone and now the Browns can focus on doing the things necessary to get the ball down field. This will be Jason Campbell’s second start with the Cleveland offense.

I look for good things to happen in this game. He started to look comfortable in the second half of his first start, and with another weeks practice under his belt, Campbell should perform better.

He is calm behind center and he doesn’t make the mistakes that could cost the team the game. If he plays as well in this game and gets the kind of defense we all know this team is capable of playing, the Browns should beat Baltimore and that would be huge heading into the bye week.

Cleveland signed WR Armanti Edwards yesterday. He is labeled as a wide out but he is more of a return man, Edwards also played quarterback in college and he beat Michigan once while in College.

This will be a big week for the Browns coaching staff to put the game plan together to use the team’s strengths to beat the Ravens. Going to the bye week with a 4-5 record would put the team in second place in the division and have them in good shape to compete for the AFC North.

The team can beat the Ravens, the Browns know it, the coaches know it and most of all Jason Campbell knows it. They have to play hard on both sides of the ball, and it can be done folks. The distractions of any trades are gone.

The team will be focused.

I agree with you. If the Browns had Hoyer or Campbell at QB they would have beat the Ravens in the first meeting. I think the Browns would have won in the Miami game as well. We are heading in the right direction. I am very happy to see that we did not trade anyone on the team.

I hate to be negative but Campbell has a history of playing well in one game then horrible in the next. That’s why he hasn’t been held onto by other teams. No body more than me hope I am wrong. Another question is if Campbell goes down who takes he place? Please don’t tell ne Weedon, but who else is there?

Lets all hope Campbell doesn’t go down.
