Seneca Wallace the Browns quarterback starting Sunday in place of the injured Colt McCoy has faced the Pittsburgh Steelers before as a wide receiver in the Superbowl when he played for Seattle.  Sunday Wallace will face a tough Pittsburgh defense when the Cleveland Browns take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Browns final game of a losing season. Many think the Browns could care less if they get a win or not. Some think the team is playing for a better position in the draft.

Wallace would like to win this game and if for anything else just to prove the Browns are going to be a legitimate contender in the AFC north. Wallace made plenty of mistakes last week when the Browns faced the Ravens, this week Wallace is going to have to do a better job at managing the clock and limiting mistakes if the Browns are to have a chance to close out the season with a win.   The Browns played the Steelers tougher than some might have thought they would have in their first meeting.

The Cleveland defense is going to have to help in this start for Wallace. If the Browns defense is able to stop Ben Roethlisberger and his Steelers it may give Wallace a chance to make something happen. Wallace has stated that his Browns receivers are improving and the team as a whole has something to prove. Lets hope that is the case this Sunday when the Browns start the new year off.

Getting the teams first win of 2012 could set the pace for Wallace and the rest of the Cleveland Browns…
