Browns Linebacker Scott Fujita’s appeal is coming this week, at first it looked like this would fall on deaf ears. Goodell seems to think he is the last word in the N.F.L. and once he passes down a judgement it usually stands. The Browns could really use a break in the Fujita suspension especially with Chris Gocong going down with a season ending injury. This could be the one week Fujita finds a Roger Goodell willing to make a deal. Goodell is reportedly willing to cut a deal with Jonathan Vilma if he drops his civil suit against Goodell.
Scott Fujita has stood by the fact he didn’t offer money to have players hurt others in the N.F.L. Bounty Gate. Now that Goodell is willing to cut a deal with Vilma he could be willing to cut a deal with Fujita as well. Browns fans can only hope this is the case. Goodell has made far too much out of this Bounty Gate. His punishments to the players is uncalled for. If Fujita can get his suspension over turned it would be a good thing for the Cleveland Browns who are short in the need for Linebackers.
Hey tell us if you think Fujita stands a chance in his appeal
