Adonis Thomas was invited to attend a rookie mini camp the Cleveland Browns had, he showed he has some of the right stuff to make a difference in the NFL and now as the Browns have to trim the roster down to 53 Thomas is left wondering if he will have a home in Cleveland. Thomas would be a great addition to any NFL team, the Browns are stacked at running back this season. That is a problem the Browns could use coming into the 2012 season, last year the Browns were left scrambling when Hillis went down and Hardesty hurt his calf muscle.

Thomas is on the small side, at 5’9″ and 185lbs he has the speed to break away from tackles as he showed against the Bears last night with a 64 yard run. Thomas is hoping to call Ohio his home and like 21 other guys he is left wondering if he will be one of the 22 players to be cut today before the deadline. The Cleveland Browns have to get their roster down to 53 today. If the Browns had it their way they would keep Thomas, the team still doesn’t know how Richardson will do in game time situations and if his knee can hold up to the pounding of the NFL.

If the Browns decide to make Thomas one of their cuts, lets hope they can sign him to the teams practice squad. Letting this guy go would just give another team in the NFL some fuel, he would be picked up by some team for sure. He has shown he can find the end-zone and he could find it quickly with his speed…..
