The Cleveland Browns should have found a way to keep David Sims on the roster. This guy was a beast at safety and with the Browns secondary always getting beat up having a guy like Sims is like having a great insurance policy on a house in a hurricane zone, you never know when the storm is going to hit and when it does you can move right on without even missing a beat. Sims had a terrific training camp and preseason, his ability to sniff out the football and get interceptions would have helped the Browns improve their defense.

Sims is a guy that only comes along once in a while, for Pat Shurmur and company not to recognize how good this guy could be, they made a huge mistake. Sims is what I call a difference maker, having him on your team gives you the ability to change the tempo of the game at any given moment. Hopefully Sims can clear the hurdles and get back to the Cleveland Browns somehow. He could find himself to the practice squad if the Browns were smart. You shouldn’t let go of a guy that wants to be there as bad as Sims did. Lets hope the Browns can find his way to keep the services of David Sims….
