The Cleveland Browns paid  Marcus Benard last season after he crashed his motor cycle on I-71, something the team didn’t have to do. They saw great promise in  Marcus Benard. What a difference a year makes. Benard goes from one of the players with the biggest potential to get to the quarterback to man with out a team. Did the motor cycle crash take more air out of  Benard’s balloon than first thought?

Marcus Benard dislocated his left elbow in Friday night’s exhibition loss to Philadelphia. Benard could return to the club if he’s not claimed by another team. You have to wonder if other teams took notice of Benard, he once was a player other teams would fear. Now that he hurt his elbow and Shurmur waived him, I think he could get picked up on the waiver wire by someone. Is Marcus Benard one of the many who will leave Cleveland to become a star somewhere else or is he a bust? Only time will tell……
