The Cleveland Browns have their number one draft pick, Barkevious Mingo listed as probable for Sundays game in Baltimore. The Cleveland Browns are taking on the Ravens in week two. They could use a little help in their pass coverage and we are not sure Mingo is the guy to provide it.
He is a pass rush specialist and he has missed 2 preseason games and the season opener. He suffered a bruised lung while playing special teams and his impact as a pass rusher could really help the Browns bring the pressure to Flacco and his Ravens offense.
Cleveland could be vulnerable to the pass, especially the short over the middle stuff and the down field stuff opposite Joe Haden. The Cleveland defense has to hope by playing Mingo, they take away the time needed for Flacco to stand back in the pocket and pick apart the Browns secondary.
Flacco has a strong-arm and he can take it deep down the field given the time. With Mingo playing it could help to take the time away needed for Flacco to attack the defensive secondary. Mingo adds depth to an already good front 7.
The question is now, whether he is going to be in top form after missing all this time. If they play Mingo, which all signs are pointing too, he could be a difference maker immediately for the Browns defense.
