The Cleveland Browns made the announcement that rookie quarterback Cody Kessler will start against the Miami Dolphins. Kessler is the 3rd quarterback to start for the Browns in 3-weeks. The Browns could be placing this rookie in harms way.

The team has no offensive line. Now Irving is out with an injury, and the Browns plan to start John Greco at center. This isn't going to be easy for Kessler, who has never played a regular season game in the NFL.

Lets hope the Browns offensive line can do something to protect this kid. The Browns went out and signed veteran quarterback Charlie Whitehurst last night. The 34-year old last played for the Indianapolis Colts.

He's been on 5-teams in the NFL in a career that's spanned 10 years. He has a career QB rating of 74.7. The Browns are clearly in panic mode now folks. They needed a body that could play QB, so they went out and signed Whitehurst.

When do you think we will see the Browns use Terrelle Pryor as their quarterback? It could come down to this, especially with the way the offensive line is falling apart. Not only are injuries hurting the QB situation, but it's also affecting the O-line.

This is going to be a long tough season for Hue Jackson and the Cleveland Browns. If Hue was smart he be stock-piling more quarterbacks. It seems as though the team is going to need them. Lets hope Kessler survives this first NFL start.

If he does he will be the only Browns quarterback, to make it to another game as the starter this season. Talk about living under a black cloud, these Cleveland Browns just can't escape it folks.
