Antawn Jamison found his rhythm tonight as he threw down 23 points 5 rebounds and had 2 assists to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the New Jersey Nets 98-82 tonight. It was another solid effort by the cavaliers playing as a team. The defensive efforts of Tristan Thompson continue to amaze people. Thompson came in off the bench and had three more blocks tonight and scored 9.

Daniel (Boobie) Gibson has a solid performance hitting 5 of 7 from 3 point land, Gibson scored 19 points for the Cavs tonight. The Cleveland Cavaliers are really looking like a team of young guys that enjoy playing together, something that has been missing in Cleveland for some time. Kyrie Irving has been a pleasure to watch in a Cavs uniform tonight the 19 year old scored  13 points had 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Overall the entire Cavaliers team is playing good basketball right now. Ten Guys continue to battle and make it a team effort. Coach Byron Scott has got to be pleasantly surprised with what he is seeing right now with his young guys. If the Cavaliers can continue to keep this up and the team continues to improve I think some will be very surprised with the Cleveland Cavaliers very soon.

If the players from the team 2 to 7 years ago would have had a leader who believed in the word “TEAM”, we probably would have won a championship by now. Now although these guys are very young along with a couple of great veteran leaders, its more fun to watch. Not a selfish team but a real “TEAM” and Coach Scott is the perfect coach for the job. They might not win a title but we should be prouder to have a “TEAM” instead of one selfish player. Good Luck Cavs and have a great 2012 season..

Bill, Great observation on your part. I had Joe Tait on my Cleveland Sports 360 show a couple of weeks back and he said the team didn’t have a leader. Meaning LBJ was no leader at all. You’re right Bill The Cavs are a lot of fun to watch right now. I think for the first time in a very Long Time we finally do have a team capable of playing as a team. I also think this team may surprise people this year and win a few more games than some think. The Indiana game last Friday was a great test and the Cavs darn near pulled it off….It is going o be a fun season, win or lose it will be enjoyable.

Thanks for taking the time to post a comment Bill….
