Asdrubal Cabrera got the rally going for the Cleveland Indians large 5th inning with a 2 run shot that drove in Santana. Just like that the Indians took the lead in game 3 against the White Sox and the Indians hopes of post season play were looking alive and well.

It wasn’t over yet, the Indians scored 3 more runs in the 5th and it was Lonnie Chisenhall who decided to display some of his power. He hit a 3 run blast that scored, Giambi and Gomes. The Indians were on top 5-0 and things were looking good.

Then they scored 2 more runs from a Santana single to center in the 6th and Raburn the guy that has help the Tribe tremendously as of late, hit a sac fly in the 9th to drive in the Indians 8th run of the game.

Cleveland got some darn good pitching from their starter, Ubaldo Jimenez who pitched 8-1/3 innings and only gave up 1 run while striking out 8 batters. Were did this Jimenez come from? This is the guy the Indians traded for and he is getting better with each performance these days.

He has fixed his mechanics and he is feeling comfortable on the mound again. Jimenez has now won 12 games this season for his Indians, he is once again the dominate pitcher that played in the National league a few years back.

Jimenez is turning things around and he is a positive asset for the Cleveland Indians.  The Tribe is still 1-1/2 games back in the Wild card race and 5 games back in the A.L. Central.

Hi, LG. Good news, The Tribe earlier tonight swept the Pale Hose in another four game series for the third time this season. Also, both the Rays and Rangers lost as well. Plus, I fell that Ubaldo has got to be the most improved starting pitcher from the last two years. However, next up on our schedule is the KC Royals. Last time at home we lost 2 out of 3 to them. Note to the Tribe: We really can not have a repeat performance of that previous series if we are to make the wild card.
