They are keeping things interesting in Cleveland. The Browns have an owner who could be indicted on federal charges. They have a player who was busted by a under-cover vice detective posing as a hooker. The team drafted a player in the final round of the 2013 NFL draft, who was arrested for selling 40 worth of marijuana to an under-cover cop at football practice.

The good news is they may not need Armonty Bryant, who comes to the Browns from East Central University. The team has plenty of D.E.’s. How smart if the guy anyway? He was trying to sell pot at football practice. Who brings marijuana to practice with them? Where did the guy keep the stuff?

The Browns certainly are going to be a team filled with outside distractions in 2013. With Haslam’s legal problems and Banner putting players in the watch list, many think the Browns will have another losing season. The team hired a head coach who doesn’t have a bit of head coaching experience. But that is OK, at least Chud brought in some great coordinators who have plenty of NFL experience in the NFL.

The team needs to stay focused on football. It isn’t going to be easy with so many wondering about Haslam’s future as the owner of the Cleveland Browns. As the days go by, more legal problems surface for the team’s owner.

The defense should be something to watch this season. They brought in enough guys to bring a serious rush to the quarterback. The defensive secondary could still use some help, but a great pass rush should help the Cleveland secondary.

The Browns offense didn’t do much in this years draft. Some think Banner stacked up picks for the 2014 draft, so the team could go after a quarterback if Weeden fails to show improvement this season.

The odds makers should be setting odds on whether any more troubles surface for the team before the official start of training camp. Chudzinski is going to have his hands full trying to keep his team focused on football and not what is happening in the federal investigation that could send the team’s owner to a federal prison.

This is the team that wouldn’t take the honey badger in the draft because they thought he would bring in trouble. He would have fit right into this team….

Good luck Browns. Please win 9 games this year. That would be a great start to the new look Cleveland Browns.
