When it comes to the Cleveland Indians there is good news and there is not so good news. The good news is the Cleveland Indians completed the sweep over the Chicago White Sox, beating them in game 4 of the series, after sitting around and waiting for hours for the weather to clear up.
The not so good news is the Indians start a series against the Kansas City Royals, a team they just lost 2 of 3 to in their last series. Now that the Indians are only a half game back in the wild card race, maybe they will beat the Royals in this series to take full control of their own destiny in this wild card race.
In yesterdays game the Indians started Zach McAllister, he pitched for 6-2/3′s innings and struck out 5 while only giving up one run. He walked only one hitter.
The Indians offense was able to produce 7 runs in the game bringing their total run production to 32 runs over the 4 game series. The team was offensively consistent in this series and we have to hope they can continue to be this consistent against Kansas City.
The Indians will start the 3 games series against the Royals in Kansas City tonight and then it is back to Cleveland for a 4 game series against the Astros.
